Ep. 225 – Prepping Your Firm for Outsourcing Work – with Tejus Karia
Tejus Karia was going to law school and, like many of us, started to realize, as he got closer to graduation, that he may not want to be an attorney. Instead, he started an offshore outsourcing company for legal work—while still in law school—and marketed it to law firms in and around his area. He did end up graduating from law school, passing the bar, and becoming a practicing attorney, but he also still runs that business today. We talk about how to identify what work can be offloaded and how to document those processes so that work can be handed off quickly and easily.
